I'm Subesh Thapa, a freelance web designer in Melbourne.
I've been designing websites for more than ten years, mostly on WordPress, for service businesses in Melbourne and beyond. I work from Essendon, and you deal with me from the first meeting to three months after launch.
MY STORY
From gaming to web design
I grew up on computers. Like a lot of kids, I spent too many hours on FIFA and Counter-Strike, but what stuck with me wasn't winning. It was how the games looked. I wanted to know how the menus, maps and graphics were made, and I started trying to make my own.
That interest in visual design led me to web design. At university I studied a Bachelor of IT, learned to code properly, and built my first real websites. I liked the code, but I loved the design side more: working out a layout, building a custom theme, and seeing a page come together so it looked right and made sense to the person using it.
More than ten years and 100+ websites later, that's still what I enjoy most. I've spent that time mostly on WordPress, along with Shopify, Squarespace and hand-coded sites. My clients are mainly local service businesses: consultants, therapists, dentists, lawyers and gyms.
I work the way I'd want to be treated as a client. I learn your business before I design anything, I fit meetings around your schedule rather than mine, and I don't disappear after launch. Every website includes three months of free support, because a site only works if you can actually use it.

I send you several design options. You pick one, and I build from there.
Review the draft
We go through the finished draft together and finalise every page before launch.
Launch & 3 months support
We go live, test it on real phones, and you get three months of free fixes, meetings and training.
